U16 Girls beat Henley

Great game, going 2-0 up, then back to 2-2 at half time, going 3-2 down but coming back to eventually win 5-3

• Great saves from Ezme, keeping us in the game when we were 3-2 down
• Superb debut from Amelie, playing centre back even though she's only 11 (or 12?)
• Melissa defended really well in the second half and then started distributing really well down the left
• Great pace from Naomi, even as right back, with a good goal
• Great stick skills from Bron as always – needs to play to the whistle especially with the coaches dodgy umpiring
• Freya N was tireless in the middle of the park, constantly breaking down their play
• Freya MT working well with Bo and scoring the goals to give us the win
• Bo taking the mickey out of her sister’s “rugby players nose”

• Katie giving the ball away a few times but then finding some good space for some first time passes down the line
• Laura getting the ball in good space up front, running hard and finding some good passes.........don't worry, that goal will come
