Alex wins MOM Hands down

Back to reality after all those players being available over the last two weeks - back to a bare 11, two debutants, one of which hadn't played for a year and Tim nursing a sore head after his 22 shot birthday celebrations mid week. To be fair, we gave it a good shot, ran around alot and held it together when it looked like we were going to get absolutely spanked - we managed to keep the scoreline semi respectable.

They had 16 players in every Mens team this week, the kids that started playing for them 3 years ago are no longer kids anymore and they also have a player that has scored 172 goals in his career (I think we kept him off the scoresheet)

Our back line were actually fairly solid, apart from at their short corners, our two debutants gave a strong account of themselves in a midfield that was ran fairly ragged. We could have actually got in 1-1 at half time, if their swish before their goal had been spotted and Hands had capped a fine performance with a goal - it was a great shot but their defender managed to clear it off the line....and Rizzle turned to Drizzle when trying to convert the follow up.

Anyway, enough of this, I need to find a job!
