An action packed summer of mixed SHC fun saw the team place 3rd in the Basingstoke finals day, after a tense 1-1 draw and narrow semi-final shuttle defeat to the overall winners. Followed by an exciting 3-2 comeback in the bronze medal match.

The beginning of this summers tournament saw an influx of new players from across the club. Debuts from the likes of Eva Reid, Toby Allday, Ali Allan, Callum Richardson, Tegan JB and Santa (full name unknown). Flanked by Sonning’s own Neville brothers; the Wooldridge duo, Luke ‘chief hydration officer“ Wise, Daisy “take on any man” Newman, and captain Harvey Richardson, the team was filled with superstars.

The mixed team continue to go strength to strength and are looking to take their spectacular form into the England hockey mixed championships next year.
