Sonning Hockey Club agree kit partnership with Osaka

The SHC Committee is excited to be able to announce we have agreed a partnership with Osaka World to supply playing and lifestyle kit to our members.

Osaka is one of the newest and leading brands in hockey, offering a range of contemporary designed kit, clothing and accessories to players. Osaka partner some of the top Dutch, Belgium and German teams in the EHL, and is excited to be partnering with Sonning as their first social hockey club in the UK.

The partnership has also enabled us to attract a major corporate sponsor, Eight Wealth Management, who are looking forward to working with the club and becoming a visible supporter of the partnership.

The benefits to Sonning include:
• A major fundraising opportunity for Sonning – a percentage of all kit sales will go to the Development Fund, so a great fundraising opportunity for members.
• A great way to promote our club as a competitive and fun place to play hockey, whilst looking even better than before.
• A chance to make the club even more attractive to players, coaches and sponsors with the support of some great partners.
• Our opportunity to support the work being done by BCSC to provide top hockey facilities, by introducing a modern look and branding opportunities with Osaka.

As with any major change, consistency is vital. The Committee have decided that each member will be required to purchase a shirt for the 2020/21 season at a subsidised cost. The subsidised fee will be added to membership payments - £20 adults, £10 juniors. Profit from sales will go to the Development Fund which contributes to the stability and evolution of the club.

Over the coming weeks members will be given the opportunity to vote on the final design of the new shirts, and for shirt size details, so please watch out for communications.
