South Berks U12 (5) v Sonning U12 (6)

Another good performance by the U12 at Cantley Park on Sunday morning saw Sonning come out on top against a young South Berks side. The team listened to their instructions from the outset, making sure they spread the ball wide and attacked down the flanks. Liv and Melissa were responsible for getting the ball out wide from defence to the likes of Charlie and Katie outside. Honor held the middle of the park well, feeding Sean who grabbed a couple and Bo who scored one. Poppy, Ellie and Isabel also played well with some determined running and good tackling
Sonning did build up a bit of a lead which was just as well as South Berks came back into the game strongly at the end with one great strike from the edge of the D. Fortunately Sonning managed to hold on for the last few minutes for the win.
