Sonning mens 2s open their pre season friendlies against South Berks mens 1/2.

Sonning played the new attacking style of hockey for the first time and took to it like a duck to water. Sonning put pressure on South berks early and got the break through 1-nil up within 10 minutes with Timmy slotting the ball under the keeper. The first half lead to a open end to end game of hockey, which finished 4-3 to south berks. Colm getting two goals (rumour has it that the new coach has ear marked one of them goal of the season).

The second half resumed with open end to end hockey, sonning played the press and caused south berks problems. Fitness told in the end and the game finished 5-3 to south berks.

Over all it was a good display from Sonning playing a new style of hockey.
