Oxford 2nd XI 3 - 5 Sonning 1st XI

Sonning visited Oxford 2s for their final 2015-16 pre-season game, and came away with a confidence boosting win. In what has recently been somewhat of an unrewarding away fixture, Sonning dominated the game, and with goals from Jonny Partenheimer, David Painter, Tom Sampson and Matt Poulton, walked away with a well deserved victory. Young Mitch Miller deputised well in goal and can be satisfied with his work, while skipper Paul Brown was pleased to welcome Mark Dobbie back into the fold after illness had kept him out until now.

First up in Sonning's assault of MBBO Prem 2 is a visit to Pound Lane to take on Marlow 2nd XI.
