Dramatic finish for the Ladies 3s

It was an early start for SL3s who travelled to Cooper School to face bottom of the league Bicester.

SL3s started the game with 12 but were soon down to 11 after Serena's painkillers failed to kick in!! With 11 on the pitch and people playing out of position Bicester stole a lucky goal. After a few minutes more they doubled the tally leaving SL3s in the shadows.

SL3s had a number of chances and created a few short corners opportunities but were only able to convert 1. With the ball finally injected accurately by Flora & Jordy receiving it on the top the ball was making its way to Helen but Sasha took full advantage of the opportunity and PUSHED the ball past the keeper!! SL3s trail 1-2.

In the second half SL3s applied the pressure and were resilient in their attack on the opposition. With a scrappy ball passed into the D by Hayley and Helen taking full advantage of the ball rebounding off the keeper it was soon 2-2.

About 20mins to go and once again breaking through the Bicester defence SL3s were in on goal...a rash stick tackle from the sweeper should have produced a short instead SL3s captain is warned!

With tensions high and 5 minutes remaining SL3s stormed the D again...Helen strikes at goal which is lifted above the keeper who gets a finger on the ball, which is then deflected on to the post...goes in to lead the game 3-2....need we go on!!

SL3s beat Bicester 3-2....with a worldly of a goal!!
