Ladies 3s must do better!

Sonning Ladies 3s travelled to Windsor on Saturday to take on 8th in the league Windsor Ladies 1s.
With all the best intentions, and riding off the high from beating Reading, Sonning were ready to continue in their winning ways. However we were not alone and Windsor came out fighting – scoring their first goal within 10minutes.
Just a lucky moment, expertly finished by a monster hitter……(we thought).
Soon after we gained composure Windsor ripped down the right hand side again, attacking quickly and scoring – 2-0 to Windsor.
Sonning continued to build a strong defence and worked hard to remain in possession of the ball, limiting mistakes and working hard to regain possession when on the rare occasion it was momentarily lost!
3-0 Windsor – not sure how they scored but they did! Something to do with P & Chaz so ‘Muff of the Match’ fell to them….
Sonning put a shift in but didn’t perform to the best of standards – not one to be ashamed of but definitely one for the EBI pile.
A special mention must go to Willers for the Rocky Road tray cake…..it was suitably dismantled and inhaled by the ladies in the car park – evidenced below
