Many congratulations to 3 of our current Ladies 1s players Mai-Po Wan, Wendy Doolin & Katharine Pike, who, following a gruelling selection process of hockey skills, physical fitness & mental strength, were selected to play in the prestigious Hockey for Heroes Ladies Squad for 2017. This is an outstanding achievement as they fought off some strong competition to make it into the squad. Hockey for Heroes is a fundraising group officially linked to the Help for Heroes charity, involving physical endurance challenges and hockey.

The SHC ladies made their debut on 12th February 2017 in a tough game against the Army. After a fiercely competitive game, in freezing cold weather, the final score was 3-3.
