The legendary Sonning HC End of Season Dinner is getting ever closer, and tickers are now available!

The End of Season Dinner is now only 5 weeks away, and this year we will be transporting you (not literally, unfortunately!) to a tropical paradise, as we have a Polynesian theme for this year; think Hawaii, Cook Islands, Bora Bora...

We will be returning to the scene of last year's festivities, the Hilton Hotel on the A33 in Reading, and will follow the usual format of having a drinks reception, three course sit down meal, awards presentations, then plenty of dancing and maybe another drink or two until carriages at 1:00am. Dress code is black tie, but feel free to push the waka out and throw is some leis and other tropical accents!

Menu options for this year are as follows:

Starters

  • Creole spiced crab cake, cilantro and lime mayo, pickled cucumber, micro cress

  • Confit chicken and red pepper rillette ,harrisa mayo , crisp bread

  • Duo of melon , poached fruits ,vanilla syrup (v)

Mains

  • Chicken wrapped in Pharma Ham, green beans ,baby onions colcannon potato, pepper sauce

  • Salmon Stir Fry with Basmanti Rice

  • Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni

Desserts

  • Passion Fruit Cheesecake

  • Profiteroles with chocolate sauce

  • Trio of Soberts ( Mango , Raspeberry , Lemon)

Tickets are priced at £37.50 per person, and are available though the Payments section of the website here. Tickets must be purchased by 10th April at the latest.

There is a limited amount of free parking available on a first come first served basis for the designated drivers, and we have also negotiated a special rate for those that want to stay over, at £79 for a single and £89 for a double, B&B.

After a tough slog of a season, let's make sure we close it off with a bang!
