Though very disappointing not to have a game again, the points from this walkover means we are just 1 point short of last season's final total and we have 3 games to go yet.

Aylesbury beating Leighton Buzzard helped us to go 2nd in the table again, but with both Buzzard and Aylesbury breathing down our necks. Our destiny remains in our own hands though, as we still have to play the 3 clubs who are in the promotion chase with us.

The 1st March is now Super Saturday, as we play Aylesbury while Swans play L/Buzzard - 'exciting' does not do it justice.

It has been a fab' season but far too short with so few teams in the division and several walkovers so, while our main aim is to enjoy our hockey and bring players on, we shouldn't forget that we stand a far better chance of playing more hockey, week in week out, next season if we get promoted, so let's go for it!!!!!!!!!
