SONNING 3 - 1 WINDSOR
1st December 2007

Sonning started strongly against Windsor on a very bouncy pitch, which changed our game slightly. Despite some great attempts at goal, we weren't able to score and the first half ended 0 - 0. With the heavens opening, the half time team talk was a very soggy experience.

Our passing game improved in the second half and we picked up the pace to start to put consistent pressure on the Windsor goal. Then Renee passed to Briony on the P spot and the first goal was on the board. Windsor equalised soon after from a smooth penalty corner.

Both sides had more chances before a nice passing sequence saw Gemma win the ball, on to Kelly who flicked it neatly over the keeper.

At 2-1, Windsor fought back and came close to equalising with some good chances but a minute before the end our new player, Louise, pounced on a loose ball and made it a final score of 3-1 to Sonning.
