Ladies Section

Looking back - 2006-2007

An extremely successful 2006-2007 season for the ladies. Running five league teams, the first, second and third teams all finished fourth in their respective leagues; the fourth team finished second and were eligible for promotion, and the fifth team, in their first season of league hockey, managed fifth place.

The Ladies 1s also had a brilliant run in the EHA Cup, finishing as runners up.

The Ladies Vets, who were not playing league hockey during the season, won as many games as they lost - and their claim to be the oldest ladies hockey team in the country who play regularly each week throughout the season (average age well over 50) is still undisputed by the EHA!

Looking forwards - 2007-2008

The Ladies 4s declined promotion this year in an effort to maintain the ladies' section structure for this season; the Ladies 5s will not be playing league hockey - their place in the League will be taken by the Ladies Vets.
